Another Penang Trip

In this 2 months i think i been to Penang quite a lot , and no doubt is a very lovely island located at Malaysia north site. The previous 2 times is more on work . This time i'm lucky being invited bye weiwei to attend her Graduation , although she been working for 3 years , don ask me why ...ask her or her nursing college.

The only reason again i was invited because the college only allows ONE person to attend the ceremony , and also due to some reason her parents of attending ... i was being the choosen one :P


i know when we are Leos , we do pledge . Surprisingly seeing them stood up for Nurse's Pledge too.

Anyway, these days nurse don wear anymore white n short n sexy skirt .. if u think they do , forget about it . and don even ask them why .... or else they will bring along their needle and chase after you .. so, jus don ask... wahahahaha. but i do salute to these few young and talented , responsible , lovely nurses ... and congratulations once again :)




Of coz going to Penang not just attendding her graduation , but food is something where comes to people mind when we talk about going to Penang , and the most basic common food that must eat , and everyone will love to eat non other than Asam Laksa ,Lobak , Chay Kuey Tiao and Cendol , yummy.. yummy....



besides food , this is what i love about penang , the DVD's .... wooohooo , is damn bloody cheap , usually when we get a dvd in KL around rm7 to Rm10 ... but in Penang , they only cost Rm4. usually only be found at Batu Ferringgi area , i told my myself stop buying .... but it jus cant ... TOOOO CHEAAPPPPPPPPP ...... when comes to the bill , only i realised i spent RM150 for plenty of DVD'ssssss ....


haha.. i think mostly i will spend my weekends finishing watching movie at home , and for my next trip to penang .. is not just food .. but DVD's :P

what does Stringray eat ????

Was talking about swimming , diving with Soonyean when teatime at Subang , and then came to topic of stingray having meal ... what does stingray eat ?? i suppose sea creature what they had for food sure came from sea right... either big fish or small fish ...


anyway , KLCC aquarium they had a session where divers feed the fish , the stingray n the shark , one week they had it twice if not mistaken. so happened when Giovanni came down from Italy , brought him visited KLCC Aquarium and happen to see the feeding session . just incase if u ask me what does stringray eat ... take a look for urself.

2 and 1/4 Months to go

Phewwww ... early thursday morning , that's already more than half a October ... and even less than 3 months before it falls into 2008.

What else have i actually achieve for the past past monthss... and what can i do to make it a better ending for this coming 2 more months.

i really don know how many people will listen to wat i do , not the pops song these days definately not Britney .....


Smashing Pumpkins , on of my favourite love love band as well , infact started to listen to their song because of Jimmy Chamberlin , Smashing Pumpkins Drummers , one of the respectful drummer i admire, then once he was caught for drugs , and it slown down the band a while .However when the band started to re-group , that was the happiest moment for the fans , yet it did not last for long and then they announced to split up YEAR 2000 and Billy Corgan then formed another band named Zwan .

the smashing pumpkins songs i would recommend is '1979' , one of their biggest hits and also made Billy Corgan shaved his head . Well , at least a not noisy song for someone who don like alternative music , if you are SP fans , i'm sure all their album will be a great Wow.......

SELAMAT HARI RAYA .... to all my Muslim n non-muslim friends , Happy Holidays , knowing is a bit late for the wishes , but with all my heart here.

3rd day of Raya holiday and never been this relaxing at home , watching DVD that i bought for ages , out wit friends for dining n drinking session .. jus wanna be lazy a litle bit.


Been to youtube these few days as well , checking some old stuff like NKOTB , pavement , red hot chilli pepper and Rodiohead ...after checking Sze blog about Radiohead latest album In Rainbow , and made me been listening to his Creep , one of my best love love songs from Radiohead , or can check out for Sze Blog

New Kids On The Block

if you ask me these days any favourite boy bands , that would certainly a big NO NO for me , friends know me for more in Live Band or hardcore , metal , rapcore .....

Yesterday night went for Grace birthay at Mongkok , Edwin came late and i don know how he came out wit the topic of boy band and then singing NKOTB songs , then few of us started to start singing .. OMG . i think from high school till now , the only boyband or i should say the only boy band i still like or enjoy listening is New Kids On The Block. The first song i came across was Step by Step , checking back the youtube , i would say they are one of the early boyband who dance hip hop and also do rap as well. Jonathan Kinght, Joey McIntyre ,Danny Wood ,JOrdan Knight and Donnie Wahlberg , if some of you not know Donnie mayb you will know his brother Mark Wahlberg ( italian job , PLanet of the apes.... ) :D


Those were the high school time ,whenever their album out , i will definately buy one , and not to mentione , and don know how i got the money to buy their CD , in those days, buying a CD instead a cassette would be big WOW , and not jus the cassette and CD , even the posters , stickers , key chain ...... awwww , such a sissy , but hey ... at least i have one boyband i admire until now...


i don't know how many of the 90's people stil remember them ... or i think the 20's would prefer these days boybands.

Now Everywhere Can Cut

Low cost Airline AirAsia came out 3 or 4 years ago and turned out to be a major successful to the public who cant afford to fly with expensive flights , brilliant idea and smart move. And people never stop thinking new idea to target the market , the only to become a survival and succecessful is to be INOVATIVE n DIFFERENCE , no doubt ... and then a bit of luck.


we got AirAsia up the air and now we have HairAsia on the ground , surprisingly this is under Thomas n Guy hair Group , now you can save your time going to barber shop if u find the salon too expensive or when u wating for someone and don mind spending time having a nice air cut... well, you figure that out...

Happy Birthday .....Dad , Mom

my god ... is October now , soon will be Raya , then Christmas , then 3 more months to 2008 coming , it seems too fast , is imm..po...ssii....bleeee........... ....is .. kra...aa...a...z...yyyy....


Anyway , always 1st n 4th October always my lovely months , why ... coz is my parents birthday. dad falls on 1st and mom falls on 4th . Well , instead of celebrating 2 times , i can make it 2 in 1 ...wahaha . yea right , call me cheapskate or whatever .... my parents say so no need do it twice also, they i'm good boy.... kekeke. Since both my sisters still at Aussie land , and also joey not around , this year celebration will only be me n Snowy blowing the candle wit weiwei being my camera man :P



yeaaa.. since snowy recovering from her operation , just in time to sing the birthday song to my dad n mom.


the Kepochi Snowy cant wait for the tasty chocolate cake.... " Dad , don let her eat so much , she still on medicine " ...wahahahaa.......

The old new wedding singer

Last weekend went to Penang attending a fren wedding , well , if u talk about wedding in malaysia , something that everyone agrees with .... " Wedding never starts puntual " , is a facts man ......

These days i used to work closely wit the wedding planner in Klang valley , supplying the wedding bands regardless from jazz band , orchestra band for wedding even some chinese oriental band instrumental played , is all in a package , nothin special about it . all my singers are talented , young , and energetic ..... But , while i was at Penang , my fren hired a duo wedding band singer as well. So , wat so surprising about the duo was ....... they are around age 60 to 70 ++ , both age added up more than 100 years old... my god... before they started singing, we thought that , ah yaa... give these old man some applause later as mayb they will be singing some old songs all the way , and that's really prove me wrong , i can say some of the young singer in KL might not as powderful as them.


all of us stopped for the meal n stoned when the duo started to rock the room singing Sean Kingston " Beautiful Girl " .



Well , we thought that was it.. but then , the Duo became more fire up with "Who's let the dog out " , and that's really getting more n more high attention , for a second, i thought i was in concert though. the most amazed me was both of them started sing from 730pm non stop till 1030pm. that's wat really respect me the most. where else in KL hardly any band singer will do this .




there's a saying in chinese " The Older the Ginger The Spicy They Are " ... errr, about that translation la. And then i learned that , for music lovers , age really isn't a matter as long as u love stage performance. then back to KL , straight away started my new project.. instead of just sing in the wedding , i will provide dancing package. For sneak preview , here's my best dancer i ever had. :P

Snowy's back

yeaaa ...Snowy's back home safe and sound after her tumour operation. And jus 2 days hospitalised cost around rm800++ . However the hospital service was good after all , all package include nice sharring room with her mates , breakfast and lunch provided as we skip the dinner , or else the bill will have goes up to 1k.

hahaha , please don feel pity for her .. she even get more pampered now. my mom even feed her food and take damn good extra care of her ... ... not to mention when i sick , i don get this kinda treatment. some dog jus have the luck , and snowy always get the best one.

Addicted to Secret ....Again

Finally last week Rob call us for movie , "Secret" directed by Jay Chow , infact this romantic movie is best if we go to watch with our girl friend , or bring along galsss , it will melt their heart down in the cinema and then we can hang over tissue to them or lend them our shoulder to lean on....HOWEVER....


turned out me ,soonyean and robert went for it ... 3 best gay fren (gay = happy) , robert was so touched that he kept letting out his tears , and .... well..... have to lend him my shoulder instead, Damn... BEWARE for robert finger tricks , i think he will used that to pork people face everytime he sees someone ( trick used from the movie ).


Let's not compare any movie .. but i really really give a good credit for this first timer jay chow directing his first movie , it basically brings back to school time , during our high school memories , where it will reminds us or time when we have puppy love at school .... some cool gang to hang around wit fun and laughters , playing silly jokes , teasing gals , scolded by principles , cheating during exam times , skipping classes , walking in the drizzling rain wit someone we admire .....i sat down wit couples of my high school frens again few day back ... recalling the times we had in school time , of coz there's no turning back for us , we had to look forward , to another level , to creat another beautiful stage ,another sweet memories for us to remembrance after another 10 years..... :)


those were the memories during my school days ... and sometimes is good to keep this past in our life. and at least when we go into another 10 years or 20 ... is a memory to us, or a secret it can be for us or me :).





i started to learn piano when i was 9 , but stop at grade 5 ... hahaha, i don know how many of my friends know :P , and once in a blue moon , do sit at the piano to play for fun , don aspect me to be a pro , not piano ..... but after the movie , it gave me new intention sitting back to the piano to practise again , at least i'm doin something , some new challenging.....

The Motivations , The cure .....

bumped into an old fren yesterday night , where we used to jam all the time and went for performance, and again brought us back the old memories , so called those were the days.....


we used to go for performance , and that made me skip a lot of classes , for me when comes to music or drums , that's the higest motivation gave me. Or i should say , whenever i'm down or sad or in shit , music n drumming gave the push n hit me hard to bring back my ego and others back on track.


i think everyone of us deserve to be down or sad sometimes , but the important thing is , we must find ways to pull ourself back and be strong . giving excuses to be sad is jus doesnt work , at least i speak for myself here. For me , learning from drums is the push , and Deen Castronovo , a very i admire drummer that i always look up to , after i found that cure for myself .... until today , the cure still works for me.





Hahahah.. do ask me of i still managed to play like that , 10 years back maybe , now not even 1/4 i guess ... but happy for myself at least still sit infront of the drums at least once weekly to do something new... and for that , is the commitment... and the motivations ..... the cure :) .

More Than Meet The Eyes

well well well , went to watch again Transformer movie on thursday midnight show at Sunway , and ... lost count of how many times watched. The thing is we knew friday there will be new arrival stocks from Hasbro , maybe is jus another motivation for us to wathc it so that can push more sales.


The funny thing is , Transformer movie had shown for more than 1 month , and according to UIP , it aready broke their new records , and still same everyday , the cinema yet still fulled , OMG .. how many times they wanna watched.


When the movie out , and the toys figure out at the same time , and if anyone of them hoping to get nice tranformers toys at Parkson , T R 'us" or Jusco , then basically u can forget about it. unless you wanna wait at the shop wait for the shoppin mal to open n start grabbing those toys. The only way you can get the nice transformers figure is from the toy shop .. of coz , in malaysia, the toy industry is not as strong as like HongKong , Japan or even Singapore , even 10 fingers can count of how many toys shops in KL . But most of the time , the toy shop would have increase the price for more than 50 or even 100% ...... so , for the toys lover , u either take it or leave it.


when 1st time came to meet james a this guy deal business in different ways, he always believe customer service and maintain a good relationship wit his customers . one of the reason the collectors like to drop by his place so much because he sells his itmes follow the market retails price , and of coz for few more reason ......


everytime when new stocks arrived , for sure you can see lots of lots of people willing to line up and cramp his shop, and as usual , everyone will have same shout out " i come first ... i come first wor... " . But this time , he figured out a nice n fair play .... numbering system. KNN, see people go for toys shop buy toys , but this is first time see people have to take number to buy toys . u think bank meh ......




don be surprise when the number system were put on his shop that previous night , the next day , some collectors even will drop by at his shop at 830am jus to get the number 001 . and slowly .. people jus keep on coming and for those who get number 50 and above .......... errrr, chances getting the toys 50/50. or mayb empty handed.... wahahaha

ohh.. c'mon laaa , number taken yet stil wanna camp at the shop , although the stocks will be coming noon , and they know they can least go for drink or breakfast , but they rather stay in the shop for "toys cultural exchanging " . the question is .... do their boss know this people really taking MC or annual leave or might jus sneak out from office telling the boss " I Go to Bank first yaaa....... " then, when someone called them , wat will their respond ??? " Ahhh YAAAA.. FRIDAY SO MANY PEOPLE AT BANK.. THE Q SO LONG... SOMEMORE TRAFFIC JAM.. GOT SEMBAYANG MAAAA...... " wahahahaha....

Finally long waited for the stocks arrived , total of ...... errr , i dont know how many boxes there , but i knew that was only half of the stocks for that day :P

After the stocks loaded out , people hands getting itchy ... eyes getting shinny ... hearts beats getting faster. and even some collectors there volunteer to be the guardian of the stock keeper. :P

well , since today so many new arrival stocks and it might be a mess , James thought better still all get prepare , at least when number called , and the buyers jus say what they wans .. then all packed n can be delivered.

However the number called until 30 something and already 3/4 of the toys were almost gone , and for the rest of the late comers , well .... will have to come back the following week and check what's new stocks coming. and this time , i'm sure the fans will know what to do and wat time to be there to ensure them get a nice number . or to be safe , can always check on ToyWorkers updated blog. :)

Addicted to secret

i wasnt a real fans of Jay Chow , but i always admire him as a great composer , or a talented musician. 不能說的秘密 or known as Secret , his latest first film directed by himself , no comment on that movoie coz havent watch yet. But the songs aready hit me hard , another superb composing by Jay and his partner 方文山 in Lyrics , both of them had been working together for ages , and they were also known as the greatest combination in song n lyrics , if u can notice Jay all album , basicaly u can see both of thier names.


well , basically , recently , actually and continuosly been listening to this song , in short about the song is like after some broke off in a relationship n later found little regretment.. and then the rest know wat's happen la...... conclusion. Robbie turn 30

Last year Robert birthday we gave him a total surprise at his house , since after that , everyone take turns to have surprise on individual special birthday , and it seems time really fliesss , is another one year now , back to robert's birtdhay again ... opps, is 30th birthday , since we had so much surprise idea for everyone for the past year that we really ran out of surprise idea , and we decided why don jus don give any more surprises and that already makes a surprises.



As robbie wanna had a dinner at Paris restaurant with a group of his closest gang , with normal dishes he ordered . After that , the rest of then suggested to drop by my house since is the nearest to the restarant , at least they can have a drunken night or mahjung session , and also soonyean was kind enough to bring his new pirated Simpson DVD.

well , let me guess , robert is either .....
A. " Yeaaa , i turn 30 already" or B. " KNN, bye bye 20... "























Mervs was so sweet enough to make robert a birthday cake , well don ask me what cake is that , i cant explain it out , or we call it 'Mervs Secret Recipe' , he n joan spent 2 days experimenting baking not jus a lovely cake for Rob , but also making effort baking to the rest of 14 people who hopefully nothing goes wrong wit them , no worries ... the cake was sweet yet delicious , can i do pre-order for my birthday huh....





Lastly all the gang having family photo, and that's also including "Snowy" also wanna in the photo as well .

Malaysian Driver

This is something kinda angry about where don know how do the driver get his/her drving license. It was peak hour at subang and .. c'mon laa. jus a tiny bloody car and somemore took 2 packing places. can't they be more considerate.

Malaysia , i think the accident rates getting worst n worst , and especially when u read the newspaper this morning , can see how the bus driver drove and caused 16 death. i jus got curious, what are them thinking when they drving the bus , don they know , people lives all depends on the driver. I mean driving is one hell of the problem in malaysia , not to mention even on parking problem.. the same....

I think these days i drive even more careful and slower ... and for those who are impatient kept on honging at me.. MY God...c'mon laaa

Something i owed for long

There are 2 lovely gals i owed them to much and too long enough that i don think i wanna waste my time anymore , or it will be a guilt to me for not blogging them :) .


once i heard about Olivia Ong , a Singaporean jazz singer that went to japan started her music career , her song touches me so much that i wanna get her album so badly. But only able to get it at Singapore. However thanks to one of my lovely friend from Spore ,Lilian ... infact it was an unexpected surprise to me when she came to KL one day and gave me the 2 cd's. It was the touches moment for me of what she did , and everynight Olivia songs flows inside living hall. I promise whenever i go Spore next time , for sure will call u as my tour guide :D

The second gal i wanna mentioned which also special to me is my lovely cousin Helen , we used to be very very very close when we were young , and even now we still very close to each other. She's the one who i followed her to kindergarten without telling my parents. Although she's one year older than me , but she really take cares of me.


The happy moment came this January when she got married at KL tower , together wit her husband Esmond. Wat so romantic surprised was both of them came out wit their own ice-cream brand "Helmond" ...awwww , that's too damn sweet. There are 3 favour , durian , manggo and jackfruit , and in near coming future there will be few more favour coming out soon ... interested can get from me for free tasting or anyone if interested as getting distributors , well .... there's always an opportunity :D

Giovanni Calabrese

this is what Giovanni had been saying for the past two weeks , Giovanni or what we called him Gio as his short form, easy to remember, a Italian YE ( Youth Exchange ) student that stayed in our place for 2 weeks. All this while we had hosted many Japanses girls , but not a single boy . After both my sister went to Australia , i thought mayb i can host someone not from japan but mayb from Europe , As also my parents will be free at this moment even if i'm not around , hehehe....





Gio is very hyperactive , as the first day he came , i thought he can't speak english, as i for sure not a single italian , however we tried hard to communicate wit hands and every single movement at the beginning, then things going smooth within few days , and even pretty well going wit my parents. The best things he enjoy definately is seeing pretty gals and get to know the new friends, as for me ... a driver of Mr.Giovanni :P







The day he arrived , wanted to visit the KL tower n KLCC where he heard about it so much from Italy , so we made a early morning trip down to town together with James.








Gio went for the Lions club meeting and having banners exchange with the Lions Club President.





The Next day , went to KL tower , also had a ceremony , cultural exchange wit the monkeys, Gio giving out the Italian chips to the monkey.

say cheeezeeeeeee.......

haha , i had hired a Chef from Italy making some nice delicious spaggetti n pasta. From the way he made pasta and spaggetti , is totally not the same method as wat we did in malaysia. Luckily he also gave out the secret recipe for making the real italian food , guess wat .. the secret recepi is actually written on the apron :D





And the happy moment for him is to invite all the new friends he knew in malaysia over for a lovely dinner. and Surprisingly that , my dad don even like to eat much spaggetti n pasta , but the way Gio cooked , dad ended up ate few plates.

Thanks for SoonYean aka The Mahjong King , giving out free private lessons how this games work, and Gio is so concentrating and also being a good apprentice , writing down in his note book of every single rules and regulation that soonyean taught him . And my dad even gave him a set of mahjong to him back to Italy. hmmm.. i think later on Italy will famous for mahjong all becoz of Giovanni. mayb he can starts with " Giovanni Mahjong club "

weiwei , shah and chienchien joinning us for dinner , and as usual the menu more or like the same , sweet n sour pork and lemon chicken is his favourites fooooood.

Gio is trying his best to use chopstick everytime we went for dinner , don be surprise his chopstick skills is improving. No worries , already gave u some chopsticks back home to practise , till next time we'll see your results.

i think the gal would rather punch him as he was kept on asking hugs n kisses , well as this is their culture. But i think the guys here would like to punch him as well as we didnt manage get anything even we know the gals for so long... KNN.....

However , we really have a great time having you around in our family, and as what u promise will be back in a year time, we welcome you ..... please, bring some frens over , especailly gal... the guys here need hugs n kisses n love too ... as it will be more meaningful as in "the cultural exchange " :D
